From the lagoon of Batea Mahuída volcano taking toward the
right for the margin you will find the path that travels for
the east side. This road that can only be carried out on
foot or horse, takes to the second lagoon and Batea Mahuída
Pass. We recommend pay attention to the path for not losing
it, equally is very marked for the live stock step. The path
runs for the right margin of the volcano where you probably
will find some snow. After around 1 hour walking for this
hillside you will arrive to a passage. When concludes you
will be impressed with the view of the second lagoon and to
the bottom the international boundary landmark and Chile.
The path will begin in slope toward the lagoon being very

path goes near and by the right margin of the lagoon. You
can go down to the lagoon or in a while more will arrive to
the landmark and Pass. From there Chilean valleys landscape
makes lose the notion of the time. There you will also
observe Chilean mountain range as well as characteristic
pehuenes of this area in both countries.
