The area that occupies Villa Pehuenia at the moment was originally the place where inhabited mapuches that today are in the surroundings. Mapuche´s History is very interesting and rich for who intends to discovered it. The mapuches were very advanced people in their culture as demonstrate it their language the Mapudungun and their Mapuche´s Traditions. On the other hand they were First Settlers adventurous that cheered up to colonize those lands by the middle of the XX century.
