Road (PR) 23 and 46.

road that travels Aluminé river crossing it in
several opportunities. Quillén lake and river.
Hui Hui lake.
• Description:
From Tourist Information (located on PR13 and
Litrán river) you will follow PR23 in address to
Aluminé until that town are approximately 48 Km.
The first kilometers you will be trafficking
Aluminé lake until Lonco Luan stream and place.
The road runs near Aluminé river going by
sectors where rafting is practiced.
To 19 kilometers you will see the bifurcation
(PR15) that takes to Quilachanquil and 2
kilometers later on PR11. If you take this road-
the 11 - you will arrive after approximately 30
Km to Ñorquinco lake (see Pehuenia Circuit
description). Continue PR23 you will cross
Rucachoroy river. You will see of the other
margin of Aluminé river Tindiririca hill, then
will go by Municipal beach and a Camping site.
You will have arrived to Aluminé. The city has
Restaurants, Service station, Hotel, Inns,
Cabins, Organized camping site, etc.
Later on to your right taking PR18 you will
arrive at Rucachoroy lake (see Aluminé-Rucachoroy
description).
Continue road 23 toward the south skirting
Aluminé river. There are 16 Km of asphalt until
Rahue place. You will arrive to a bifurcation
(PR46). If you take to your left you will go to
Zapala and to your right to Quillén. The road
traffics the valley of Quillén river. When
passing the place you will see a road to your
left that takes to the lake in regular state.
Follow right you will pass near La Ofelia Ranch
and you will have entered to Lanín National
Park.
From the bifurcation of roads 23 and 46 to the
lake are approximately 28 Km. In the north of
the lake you will find Border Army, Ranger
sectional and Camping site.
This place is a good opportunity to observe
pehuén, lenga, cohiue, ñire, raulí, oak and
pellín mixed forests.
To go to Hui Hui lake you should continue way
that goes to the road taking in the bifurcation
toward your left. You will go by a Camping site
and about 6 kilometers later on the road that
takes to Hui Hui lake.
