The area of Villa Pehuenia is surrounded by rivers, lakes and streams in which it's possible to carry out different activities. There are several lagoons that surround the village in the summery time disappearing in the winter.
Aluminé river is the most important in which Rafting is made in its different grades. The activity is practiced from Lonco Luan place where the river is born toward the south concluding in the fork of the same one with Chimuehuín river. 
In the last section of Aluminé river from Abra Ancha until its fork with Chimehuín river it can be practiced kayak in its grades I and II. Sport that can be carried out in all seasons while rafting has restrictions in winter, when diminishes the flow of water of the river.
